Three nurses among five killed in Mumbai bridge collapse

In the unfortunate incident which occurred on Thursday, March 14. Twenty-nine people have been injured and five. Three out of the five deceased were nurses from nearby GT and St George Hospital

In the gruesome bridge collapse which took place today evening around 7:35 pm. According to information provided by BMC’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) 29 people have been injured. And 4 people have died, with 3 brought dead to St George Hospital and 2 brought dead to GT Hospital.

Among the people who passed away 3 were women who were nurses who worked at Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital and St George Hospital. The names of the nurses are Apporva Prabhu, Ranjana Tambe, and Bhakti Shinde.

While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Mukund Tayade, Medical Superintendent of GT Hospital stated, “Three nurses have died in the horrific accident today evening . Two nurses among them worked at GT Hospital, while one worked at St. George Hospital. The two nurses from GT lived in Dombivali. There were on the way to the hospital to start their night-shift when the they lost their life to this accident.”
