The year-long Great Indian Sleep Scorecard 2019 revealed some interesting details regarding the sleeping patterns of Mumbaikars.

Wakefit, a sleep solutions company, conducted a year-long Great Indian Sleep Scorecard 2019, among the residents of Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. The survey revealed some interesting facts about sleeping patterns of the metros.

With about 16,000+ respondents, the survey revealed some startling facts that indicate that sleep-deprivation is a nation-wide problem in India.

Commenting on the survey, Ankit Garg, Co-Founder & CEO, Wakefit, said, “Lack of sleep can lead to a multitude of health issues that range from high blood pressure to increased anxiety. The survey gives us an idea of how Indians, across the country, continue to neglect these problems. What’s more concerning is that a majority of them don’t consider sleeping disorder as a real problem. While we have been making relentless efforts to improve the overall sleep health of Indians, a large-scale awareness needs to be created.”
