Sadhana Pawar, wife of Ganesh, said, “We do not have any resources left to raise funds for the surgery. I have given all my money for treatment that is going on since last ten months. I appeal to everyone that they help me in saving my husband’s life. His condition is critical and we have become helpless.”

Ganesh’s mother has decided to donate a kidney. He owns a land which measures 2.5 acres. Land is the only source of livelihood for him. He has been taking the treatment at Apollo Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Diksha Dinde, a resident from Pune, came to know about plight of Ganesh from one of the relatives of Ganesh who happen to know Diksha.

“The family does not have all the documents and so it is difficult to get them treated in government hospital in Maharashtra. Me and some of my friends are volunteering for the cause. He has two sons, elder one in ninth and younger one in seventh standard. We have raised around Rs 9,000 so far and our target is to raise 6 lakhs. In this campaign I have taken help of Sadhana’s brother Gulab Jadhav, under whose name we have started crowd funding,” said Diksha.
