Woman gives birth to a baby at Dadar Station

Today is Valentine’s Day and on this special day, a pregnant woman Jyoti Pawar, gave birth to a baby at Dadar railway station, Mumbai. The delivery was carried out by the ‘One Rupee Clinic’ doctors

On Wednesday morning, Jyoti  Pawar was travelling from Kalwa to CST.  But, as soon as the train reached Dadar station, she started getting labour pain. Owing to unbearable pain, the other lady passengers took her to the ‘One Rupee Clinic’.

Dr Rawal conducted her initial check-up and carried out her delivery. After which, she delivered a baby boy. As per the information received from the doctors, the weight of the baby is 3 kgs. Both, mother and son are fine.

Speaking to My Medical Mantra, “Dr Rahul Ghule, CEO of ‘One Rupee Clinic’ said, “‘On duty Dr Rawal of ‘One Rupee Clinic’ carried out the save delivery with the help of the railway police. The lady was 8 months pregnant.  There was a time for her delivery. But, she went into labour pain owing to which her delivery was performed. She has been sent to the KEM Hospital for further treatment.”

‘One Rupee Clinic’ is the brain child of Dr Rahul Ghule and his younger brother Dr Amol. ‘One Rupee Clinic’ has been in different places at Dadar, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vashi, Wadala Road and Mulund stations.
