Prince-last-rites

The last rites of Prince Rajbhar, who passed away on Friday, November 22 was conducted today (Nov. 25) evening. Prince was suffering from pneumonia, he had suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be revived

A post-mortem was carried out the following day. On November 25, the hospital authorities handed over Prince’s body to his grief-stricken parents.

While speaking to My Medical Mantra Dr Hemant Deshmukh, Dean, KEM Hospital, informed, “The body of Prince was handed over to his parents around 5 pm this evening. A cheque of Rs 10 lakhs was also handed over to them.”

The parents have accepted the compensation after their initial refusal.

Prince, who reached KEM Hospital from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on November 05 with a congenital heart ailment and pneumonia, was put on ventilator support.

However, on November 06, he sustained 20 per cent burns on the left ear, shoulder and arm due to a fire in the paediatric ICU unit when ECG nodes strapped to his body developed a defect and malfunctioned. As a result of this, his left hand was amputated on November 11.

According to doctors, suffered a cardiac arrest at 2:30 am on Friday, November 22, and could not be revived. Prince breathed his last at 2:45 am.
