While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Prabhat Rahandale, Chief Fire Officer, said, “We are still searching for the boy, he hasn’t been found. The nullah is very wide and there is a lot of rainwater in the nullah which is making it difficult to search for the child. We searched around 10 km of drainage and have dug it. Yet the child is missing.”

This incident brings to mind the tragic death of renowned gastroenterologist Dr Deepak Amrapurkar who died two years ago after falling into an open manhole.
