- On Tuesday, October 01, the state government issued the orders, of appointing Dr Ajay Chandanwale, as new Additional Joint Director, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra
- Dr Chandanwale, who is currently, Dean of B J Medical College, and Sassoon hospital, Pune will continue to hold on to the position.
In a major development, Dr Ajay Chandanwale has been entrusted with the responsibility of additional joint director Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra. He will be replacing Dr Prakash Wakode, who retired on September 30.
As per the government’s order, Dr Ajay Chandanwale will hold the additional charge of Additional Joint Director, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra. With this, Dr Chandanwale has been given an additional charge of Director, DMER, as the Director of DMER, Dr Tatyarao Lahane, has gone to Russia on an official tour.
Dr Chandanwale will hold the charge of a director on a temporary basis until October 6th.
A few days back the Maharashtra government had transferred Dr Ajay Chandanwale from Mumbai’s JJ Group of Hospitals to Pune.
