
Dr Avinash Saoji, the founder and director of Prayas, an NGO based in Amravati, is set to will host a cancer survivor meet in the last week of March.
The event will take place from March 31 to April 04. Cancer survivors, relatives of cancer patients, oncologists, physiatrists, dieticians and different organisations working for cancer patients will participate in this meet

Speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Avinash Saoji said, “Still, there is no awareness about cancer in the rural areas. So, this programme will be organised to share the stories of the cancer survivors who battled against cancer.”
He added, “150 people from different parts of Maharashtra will be coming together between March 31 to April 04. Speakers would guide cancer patients and their relatives about daily lifestyle and improving mental and physical fitness. At the meet, experts will explain how to prevent cancer and how to spread awareness about cancer.”
