Ramesh Bhatkar had acted in more than 90 Marathi movies, and he was last seen in Anupam Kher starrer ‘The Accidental Prime Minister.’ Ramesh Bhatkar started his career in 1977. His role as a police inspector in popular Marathi serial ‘Hello Inspector’ has been still remembered by many.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid tribute to the late actor on Twitter.

While paying condolences to the late actor’s family on Twitter, MP Supriya Sule wrote, “Veteran Marathi actor Ramesh Bhatkar is no more. He was a great actor.”
