Primary healthcare and wellness is a topic of discussion that each of us will look forward too. It is so because accessible quality primary healthcare has been a neglected area in the healthcare sector for more than two decades now. There is, no however no denying that there is ample innovation in the sector of medicine but providing quality primary care remains to go as an unnoticed subject.
Considering this, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Western Region shall be hosting a panel discussion on ‘Primary Healthcare and Wellness’ on August 23rd at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The discussion will deal with the need of innovations and practices with regards to primary healthcare.
“The primary healthcare has not changed much in the last 50 years. Even when we say that there are a lot of new innovations, there is a greater need to create improved procedures or upgraded models. The panelists at the discussion are major stakeholders for policy making,” said Rahul Guha, partner and managing director of The Boston Consulting Group and moderator of the session.
Public health policy, in all is a matter of discussion for each and everyone of us at a certain point in time. The operating environment of healthcare providers is very important for the health care developments in the country. And the CII conference will be hosting five different sessions like primary healthcare, health insurance, digital healthcare to keep the consumers abreast of every happening in the sector.
