The latest notice issued by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has asked doctors, who have completed their medical degrees from state government or municipal run medical colleges, to submit their bond-free certificate to the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) for renewal of registration, failing which they will lose their rights of practising in the state
