Mumbai: Medical interns at civic-run hospitals still to receive their raised stipend

On August 27, 2019, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has decided to increase the amount in the existing stipend from Rs 6,000 to Rs 11,000. The raised stipend was to given from the month of August. While medical interns at state-run hospitals have received the stipend, medical interns at civic-run hospitals allege that they are yet to receive their raised stipend
