Srinagar: Terrorists attack Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital

On Tuesday, terrorists attacked a hospital in Srinagar and freed a Pakistani ultra. One policeman was killed in the attack while another was injured

Suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists fired shots at the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, when policemen were escorting a Pakistani terrorist Abu Hanzala alias Naveed Jutt for medical check-up. After which, the Pakistani terrorist managed to escape during the firing. And the terrorists also fled from the spot.


In the year 2014, Naveed Jutt, the LeT terrorist was caught in Kulgam in south Kashmir managed to escape with the assailants, police officials said.

“Six detainees were being brought from the Central Jail (to the hospital). Out of them, one snatched weapons from the police and fired at the protection party. One policeman is critically injured and another is injured. The prisoner’s name is Naveed. He is probably an outsider,” SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray told reporters.
