She not only flaunted her baby bump but also showcased on how to stay fit during the nine months.
Yoga can be very beneficial for pregnant women. It increases flexibility and reduces stress. Yoga also helps in regulating the energy and reduces the chances of complications during the delivery.
Pregnant women can do following asanas to stay fit:
Hanish Jatwani, professional Yoga trainer based in Mumbai said, “Yogasanas should be performed, depending on the pregnancy month. Yogasanas done by pregnant women are categorized from 0 to 4 months and from 4 months onwards. During pregnancy, yoga has a positive effect on health. During my pregnancy, I did yoga until the last day.”
However, pregnant women are advised to take certain precautions while doing yoga:
•Avoid doing kapalbhati pranayam
•Don’t pressurize your abdomen
•Focus on simple stretching and pranayam
•Don’t sweat out too much
•If needed, modify some asanas
Rachana Sathye, professional Yoga trainer based in Pune advised, “While doing yoga, pregnant women should not pressurise their abdomen. Also, they should not hold breath for too long. If a pregnant woman already knows how to do a headstand then it can be done. Otherwise, pregnancy is not the period to perform a headstand. Keep these simple tips in mind.”
