He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on Monday, November 11, amidst the political crisis in Maharashtra. The sudden hospitalisation has come at the height of the government formation efforts underway by the Shiv Sena.
Sanjay Raut had complained of uneasiness on Monday. The angiography revealed that they were two blockages in his arteries, an angioplasty was performed soon after that and three stents were inserted to clear the blockages.
He was under observation for a day. After witnessing an improvement in his condition, doctors at Lilavati Hospital decided to give him a discharge from the hospital.
While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Shiv Sena MLA Sunil Raut, who is also the brother of MP Sanjay Raut, said, “Sanjay Raut’s condition is absolutely normal now. He has been discharged.”
