This will be a one-stop ‘helpline’ which will serve as a platform for patients to put-forth their grievances and complaints against the government and private doctors
The helpline will be set up with the assistance of the health department of Rajasthan.
The government has decided to start this helpline to prevent potential clashes between the doctors and patients. Officials informed that as the clashes get aggravated, frequent strike paralyse the health system.
While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health, Rajasthan, Rohit Kumar Singh said, “The government is in process of creating a separate helpline for patients. Through this helpline, people can report their complaints and grievances against the government and private doctors.”
“Also, those who want to seek help or ask some queries regarding treatment can call on this helpline number to receive further guidance,” he added.
According to health officials, the helpline will provide one-point access for the patients to get in touch with the health department directly.
