Vaishnavi Bhore, a 24-year-old who is working in a Pune hospital as an assistant nurse has passed the SSC examinations. Bhore had done a nursing course from Yashwantrao Chavan Open University and after completing it, she began working as an assistant nurse in Pune
But, with an aim to complete her education, Vaishnavi appeared and has now cleared the SSC exam. Now, she aspires to complete her education in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. nursing).
While speaking to My Medical Mantra, 24-year-old Vaishnavi Bhore says, “I could not complete my education after I had met with a near fatal accident. The economic condition of my family was also not good. So, I went on to pursue a course in nursing and then started working in 2015. But, I always wanted to complete my education. So, I took admission into a night school.”
She further added, “Initially, I was nervous regarding how to handle hospital work and studies. After completing my duty, I used to attend night school classes from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., each day, I used to travel one-and-half hour to attend my SSC classes. Studying in the morning helped me a lot, I am very happy that I have finally cleared my SSC exam.”
“I want to study further. I want to serve the people. I am planning to take admission in the science stream so that I can pursue B.Sc. nursing, which is my ultimate dream,” says Vaishnavi.
Prof Avinash Takwale, her teacher from the Poona Night School and College, while speaking to My Medical Mantra said, “Vaishnavi is currently working as an assistant nurse in Pune hospital. She had taken admission in our school as she could not complete her education due to a massive accident. She used to work the morning shift and attend the school at night. I am very proud that she has cleared the SSC exam.”|
