Post discharge, Vijaya visits the Gateway of India and Marine Drive

•Kolhapur’s Standard 8th student Vijaya Chougule, was punished by her teacher and was asked to do 500 sit-ups, as she forgot to carry her notebook. •After 300 sit-ups she collapsed on the ground. Immediately, she was rushed to Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College, Kolhapur. •For further treatment, she was shifted to the KEM Hospital and now she has been discharged.

Now, a joyful Vijaya can walk without support. She has been discharged from the KEM Hospital and she will be returning to Kolhapur tomorrow. Before, for the first time, she went for the Mumbai tour and enjoyed with her family at Marine Drive and Gateway of India.
Speaking to My Medical Mantra, Vijaya said, “I have been to Mumbai for the first time. My father visits Mumbai as my uncle stays here. I saw Mumbai only in films and books. I felt nice after visiting Marine Drive and the Gateway of India.”

After getting discharged, she is staying at Chandrakant Patil’s bungalow. Tomorrow she will visit the Taraporewala Aquarium, Nehru Planetarium and Jijamata Udyaan to see the penguins.
