- The NGO is set to organise a walkathon/march from Aurangabad to Tuljapur.
- It will conduct the march from November 12 to December 19.
- The distance covered will be 671 kilometres.
This walk has been organised through the effort of 10 people from Mumbai, who work towards spreading awareness on organ donation.
One organ donor can save up to 8 lives. Owing to which these 10 Mumbaikars have come forward to create awareness on organ donation.
This is the third time that such a march has been conducted year. The main aim is to create awareness regarding organ donation in the rural areas. The previous march was from Mumbai to Goa.
In this march, the team will start from Aurangabad and visit Jalna, Parbani, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur and Osmanabad. They will end their journey in Tuljapur.
This team consist of youngsters who visit school, colleges, primary health centres and residential buildings to spread a word on organ donation. And they aim to create awareness about organ donation in rural areas.
