While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Prakash Rane, member of the All India Homeopathy Doctors Federation, said, “Since the past three days, we have been sitting on a hunger strike. But the state and the union government has not said a single word regarding the bridge course issue. Owing to which, we have launched this agitation. Around 500 doctors are protesting against the IMA and in favour of the bridge course.”

Earlier, the central government had included bridge course for AYUSH doctors in the NMC Bill draft. But, after the standing committee on health recommendation, the union cabinet decided to exclude the bridge course from the revised NMC Bill draft.
