NCP Leader passes away due to prolonged illness

Thursday Night ended on a sad note as Vasant Davkhare, the NCP Leader, (68), breathed his last at the Bombay Hospital


  • Vasant Davkhare was a renowned NCP leader. He was admitted at the hospital on November 20 and he was taking treatment
  • The former MLC and former deputy chairman of the Maharashtra Legislative Council suffers from renal failure 
  • For two months now his condition had remained critical
Speaking to My Medical Mantra, Sachin Ahir, NCP leader said,Vasant Dhavkhare expired in the evening. Due to kidney failure, he was getting treated in the Bombay Hospital. Few days ago, he was put on the ventilator. His last riots will be performed on Firday at Thane in the afternoon .
CM Devendra Fadnavis expressed his condolences over Vasant Dhavkhare’s death. He payed tribute to him in the hospital. “We have lost a great friend and a leader, said CM Fadnavis.”
