Mumbai: Prince’s health remains critical, inform doctors

Doctors at Mumbai’s civic-run have stated that the child’s condition is worrisome. He has been put on a ventilator

Uttar Pradesh resident, Prince was brought to Mumbai for a congenital heart condition.

While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Hemant Deshmukh, Dean, KEM Hospital, said, “Prince’s health is critical. His blood pressure is fluctuating, he is put on a ventilator. His parents have been informed about his condition.”

He added, “We received information that Prince has been detected with pneumonia and the infection in his stomach and lungs has increased. He is not responding well to treatment.”

A few days back, baby Prince had suffered burn injuries, due to a fire which was caused when ECG nodes strapped to his body developed a defect and malfunctioned. According to doctors, Prince had suffered 20 per cent burns during the accident.

As a result of this, his left hand had to be amputated. As the blood supply to the region was being hampered. The surgery was carried out on November 11.
