Indrani Mukerjea complains of low blood pressure readmitted to JJ Hospital

Indrani Mukherjea was brought to Mumbai’s state-run JJ Hospital this morning. She was suffering from a headache and hypotension 


Indrani Peter Mukherji, a 45-year-old female prisoner from Byculla jail was brought to medicine OPD at 11:45am and was seen by Dr Wiqar Shaikh.

While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Wiqar Shaikh, who is treating Indrani, said, “The patient complained of headache and decreased blood pressure, hence she was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at 12:55 pm in view of hypotension with a neurovascular problem.”

Indrani was recently admitted to JJ Hospital on September 24 as she complained about a headache and double vision, before that she was admitted in the month June for chest pain and prior to this she was briefly admitted in April due to a lung infection.

Indrani is one of the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case. Bora abducted and killed in April 2012, allegedly by Indrani, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai in conspiracy with Peter Mukerjea, police have said. Her body was dumped in a forest in the adjoining Raigad district. Sheena was Indrani’s daughter from a previous relationship.
