Mumbai: 24-year-old KEM intern doctor goes missing

An intern doctor named Ajinkya Maurya has gone missing since Monday (July 30) evening. He told one of his hostel mates that he is leaving and went out. He has been untraceable since the last 48-hours

He was last seen wearing an orange polo T-shirt and black track pants. He left his hostel room and does not have his wallet or mobile with him

While speaking with My Medical Mantra, Dr Yogendra Singh Maurya, Ajinkya’s father said, “Ajinkya has been missing since Monday evening. We are searching for him but, we don’t know his whereabouts. He just told his friend that he has to go and left the hostel.”

Dr Avinash Supe, Dean of KEM hospital said, “When Ajinkya’s parents came to Mumbai, we got to know that he is missing. His parents have lodged an FIR in the police station. But no one knows where is he has gone.”

While Speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Ravindra Shisve, Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Region, Mumbai said, “We have registered a missing complaint and the investigation is on. Ajunkya’s parents have filled the missing complaint on Tuesday.”
