While speaking to the press, Dr Ram Narayan, Executive Director of the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital said, “We are committed to saving the life of every child who is admitted to the hospital. Our team is always ready to tackle the pre and post-pregnancy complications. The little baby (Swara) and her mother both are absolutely fine now.”

Dr Preetha Joshi, a neonatologist attached to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital said, “Our main aim was to save the life of a little baby girl. Now, both the mother and daughter are hale and hearty.”

Experts say in the case of a baby, who is weighing just 450 grams; one has to take extra precaution to make sure that all the vital organs of the baby are working fine. We have to constantly keep monitoring the baby’s health and development.

Santosh Shinde, Swara’s father said, “Swara is our first child. I was tensed. But the doctors informed us about the pregnancy complications. At birth, she was weighing just 500 kilograms. Now, she has gained weight and weighs 2.5 kilograms.”
