Maharashtra state transport corporation to start hospital in Pune

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation is soon going to construct a hospital in Pune. This is going to be the first ever hospital which will be constructed by the state transport corporation

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is soon going to set up a hospital in order to provide medical services for the people.

Maharashtra’s transport minister Diwakar Raote, stated, “The ST hospital will be located in Pune. The tender process has been started in this regard.”

According to information provided by an MSRTC official, “At Sangvi, Pune we have four hectares of land available.ST colonies are located in some areas over here. The colonies will remain here. 20, 636 square metres has been allocated for the hospital. This hospital will have a capacity of 100 beds. It is estimated that the hospital will be completed in two years.”

The official added, “Medical services of all kinds will be provided to patients at a subsidised rate. There will be a reservation of 20 per cent for ST workers.”
