Maharashtra: Former minister Ajit Pawar helps accident victims reach hospital

Former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Ajit Pawar had come to the aid of ailing road accident victims on Thursday afternoon


  • The NCP heavyweight was on his way to Tiroda, near Gondia, Maharashtra, to address a public gathering for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
  • The accident victims were taken to the local public hospital and were later transferred to a hospital in Gondia district.

As per sources, the accident had taken place near the Bisari Phata four Kilometers from Tioda, where the former deputy minister had to address the public gathering for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

A truck and a car had rammed into each other injuring 7 passengers inside the car. As Ajit Pawar’s convoy was traveling on the same road, he stopped and offered help to the ailing passengers.

Ajit Pawar and NCP workers those who were traveling with him, with the help of the local people rescued the passengers and admitted them to a local hospital.
