The city’s pouring showers proved to be a curse for most Mumbaikars today. However, one of last fears that anyone would want to have, is the hospitals getting clogged and water logged.
As Mumbai continued to reel under the impact of the monsoon, rainwater today entered the KEM hospital in Parel.
The hospital was filled with water. Patient’s wards and the hospital compound was clogged and water logged, much like the rest of the city. Due to which Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was called out for help. The hospital, is a BMC run hospital, which is known to have tons of patients from across the country each day.
KEM hospital administration said, ” Around 40 patients from female medicine ward, were shifted to another ward, as a precautionary measure.”
