Aurangabad: Hospital fire doused, no injuries reported

 Today, a fire broke out at Aurangabad's, Manik Super Speciality Hospital in Jawahar Nagar. The fire reportedly started at 12 noon. The blaze started on the ground floor, where few patients were present

Fire breaks out at Aurangabad hospital, no injuries reported

The fire had spread out to the first and second floor. Six fire engines were pressed into service for putting out the fire. 40 patients were evacuated from the hospital and taken to different hospitals in Aurangabad. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

Speaking to My Medical Mantra, Chief Fire officer Aurangabad R K Sure, “The fire was first reported inside the hospital premises, on the ground floor. Maintenance work was being carried out when the fire was reported. We have rescued all patients those who had been trapped inside the hospital. The exact cause of fire in still being investigated.”
