At least 22 passengers were killed and 39 are injured in a stampede at Mumbai’s Elphinstone railway station. The incident occurred during peak hours following rains. This horrific incident shook the entire nation and many took to twitter to express their condolences, amongst which, was former cricketer and commentator Virender Sehwag.

Veeru strikes back with his tweets on Mumbai’s Elphinstone Bridge stampede by launching an attack on government. He tweeted, “Human life is unfortunately the cheapest thing. Such a heart wrenching incident, innocent people dying even after paying taxes. “
