Dr Pallavi Sapale, who headed government hospital and Medical college, Miraj, Sangli, will take over as a new dean of Mumbai’s Sir JJ Group of Hospital.
The state government on Wednesday, September 11, issued the orders.
Dr Ajay Chandanwale, who headed Sir Group of JJ Hospital’s for over 10 months, has been transferred to Pune’s BJ Medical college, Sassoon hospital.
Dr Chandanwale’s tenure has been very successful and effective, as he brought Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to the hospital. During his tenure, lot of positive changes took place in the hospital administration and functioning.
According to sources, Dr Pallavi Sapale is reported to be the youngest dean in Maharashtra. Dr Sapale played a crucial role during the Sangli floods with rescue operations and provided medical aid to people in distress.
