I believe a lot in Neem shots. According to Ayurveda, Neem is a “cure of all sickness”. In the month of March Neem gets new leaves and that’s the month when one consumes baby neem leaves shot to increase the immunity. How often should one consume a health shot?
Some shots can be taken once daily like lime, wheatgrass and ginger. It is also a good idea to mix, add and delete other food items according to the season.

Vitamin C in Amla has anti-inflammatory properties whereas turmeric has a compound called curcumin which has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral effects.
It is also a very strong antioxidant. A dash of black pepper can be added along with turmeric because piperine found in black pepper increases the bio-availability of curcumin.
Aloe vera shots can also be taken once daily as its rich source of antioxidants and vitamins that helps reduce appearance of acne and skin inflammation.
It is also very necessary to make lifestyle changes like exercise and mindful eating along with these shots to see best results.
Anything done is excess is harmful. Shot of spirulina can be toxic and fatal if done in excess.
Some juice shots made entirely of fruit can cause spike in insulin levels which leads to blood sugar crash and ultimately increased food cravings.
Lemon Ginger Detox Shot
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon Ginger Juice
- 1 pinch Pink Himalayan Salt
- 1/2 cup Water
- Remove the juice of ginger, squeeze lime into it.
- Add a pinch of Himalayan salt and drink it first thing in the morning.
Cleanses liver maintains the pH (potential of Hydrogen) of the body increases immunity.
- 1 beetroot
- 1⁄4 th cucumber
- 15 grams wheatgrass
Put the ingredients through a juice extractor. Pour into a glass and Serve immediately.
Detoxifies your system prevents acne, inflammation and pimples.
The Sunday shot
Ideal post the Saturday binge and overconsumption of alcoholic beverages
2 cups coconut water
2 inches knob of fresh turmeric
Or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried turmeric
1inches fresh ginger root
Juice of 1 lime
1 to 2 teaspoon of raw organic honey
¼th teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground, optional
- Blend coconut water, turmeric and ginger root together.
- Strain the liquid add the lemon juice and honey. Add black pepper for enhanced absorption
Helps with an upset stomach rehydrates body detoxifies and increases immunity.
Spirulina shot Ingredients 2 oranges, juiced 1 teaspoon spirulina powder.
Add the orange juice to cup and then whisk until the powder is completely dissolved.
Drink post workout
Improves muscle performance provides energy and is a powerhouse of nutrients.
Immunity Boosting shot
- Fresh turmeric root 3 inch piece
- 2 amla(gooseberry)
- 2 pinches cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch black pepper powder
- Put the ingredients through a juice extractor.
- Add cinnamon powder.
