While speaking to My Medical Mantra, Dr Vishakha Datta Patil, Managing Director of Aseem Systems, said, “Though the Centre and the state government are taking various measures to control the menace of TB. The number of TB cases is increasing day by day. The government has data of patients, who are taking treatment in the public hospitals. But, for those patients who are taking treatment in privates hospitals, their number is not available. So, to find the hidden TB cases, we have created this app.”
Dr Patil further said, “The doctor or a medical practitioner can directly get himself linked to the nodal officer through this app. The information provided by the doctor will reach to the nodal TB officer.”
Dr Patil informed that the doctor has to register his clinic address in the app. He has to upload the patient’s information and reports as well. This application can be downloaded free of cost from any android mobile phone.
The Union government has set a target of the year 2025 to eradicate TB from India. The government has made it mandatory for all the doctors to submit the information about TB patients to the union government.
