Positivesaathi, an online portal that arranges a marriage fair for HIV +ive people has arranged a meet for HIV+ive people Pune on Saturday, November 16.
The HIV positive people, who want to get married, can attend the meet. This matrimonial platform is only for HIV patients. The organiser informed that the meet is free to attend for HIV patients and their families.
The founder of Positivesaathi institute, Anil Valliv, has been working in the Motor Vehicles Department (rto) as a DYRTO. He is organising road safety and HIV awareness camps since last twenty years.
“I saw the plight of a HIV positive friend who showed a desire to get married to get an HIV +ve girl. The fact is that there was no platform for HIV positive individuals to interact and get married. We found that due to the lack of platform, many infected people ruined the happiness of both families by marrying healthy persons. Taking this issue seriously, I created free matrimonial portal in 2005 – www.PositiveSaathi.com,” he said.
Dr Sham Sundar Jagtap, another founder member of the organization, said, “There are many, who have benefitted from this platform. Every person should get a fair chance to live life the way they want. With this platform, we are helping people with HIV to live the life they want with their chosen companion. Anybody who wants to attend can visit our website for more details.”
Not only are thousands of people got married through this website, but many of them have given birth to healthy children. The most important thing was that the service is completely free.
The platform has organized over twenty matrimonial gatherings, bride-to-be, for infected persons in Pune, Kolhapur, Ichalkaranji, Sangli, Pandharpur, Mumbai, Solapur, etc.
