Book Launch: A complete guide for managing dementia

On the eve of World Mental Health Day, Silver Innings, a home for assisted living elder care has launched its first book, ‘Remember Me – You Me and Dementia’; on the non-curable brain disorder Dementia


Written and compiled by Sailesh Mishra, the book talks about Dementia and how it could be dealt with care. Mishra is a social gerontologist and International Maser Practitioner in Dementia care and Founder of Silver Innings Group and A1Snehanjali assisted living elder care home.

The book includes some powerful stories and poems from caregivers of people with dementia which helps to understand the experience of having dementia and caring for someone with dementia.

“The aim is to let people know about the non-curable disorder. These silver-haired, golden-hearted people deserve to enjoy their second childhood with dignity, respect and care. That’s my motto,” said Sailesh Mishra.

This book aims to increase the understanding about Dementia and related disorders. It explains what can be done to tackle it better by dignifying the one suffering it.
