- A blood donation camp was help in Navi Mumbai to mark Independence Day.
- This camp was attended by 65 people.
- Most of the donors, were youngsters who had recently completed 18 years of age. This was the first time that they donated blood.
Speaking to My Medical Mantra, Nilesh Kadam from Apollo Hospital’s Community Connect Department, said, “More organisations and NGO’s should hold blood donation camps/drives on public holidays as many people are able to attend these camps on such occasions and donate blood.”
