The story also highlights how her father himself gives a gift to her daughter on her birthday by declaring that if such circumstances come, he would also like to become an organ donor. The film ends with a message of, ‘one organ can save eight lives.’
Recently, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) Pune chapter on occasion of its foundation day organised a special organ donation awareness program at Pune where the film was screened for the first time.
Speaking on this occasion Dr Kapil Zirpe, President, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) Pune chapter said,”There is a lot of gap between the number of donors and patients waiting for organ donation. Not only the ailing patients suffer, but it also puts mental, physical and financial stress on the family. Therefore, we need to bridge this gap. The film is made in order to spread the message of organ donation in the society.”
